A black person for example has no control over their skin colour and cannot realistically do much to alter it. In the same way someone who may not be considered good-looking cannot either really change their appearance. A racist remark is more than skin deep and perhaps means more but I think the 'ugly' comments some people have to endure are just as ill-judged.

The Police : The police possibly start out in their careers as polite men and women, but because of the abuse they take from a lot of the public that they have to deal with they then change to meet like with like. They initially respond to the bad behaviour which is moderately understandable but however soon become the instigators themselves. This is perhaps human nature but it is something they are aware of within the police in general and should be able to at least reduce. It means that polite people who come in touch with the police are met with a cheeky and rude officers who usually also has less brain power than a turnip, and therefore are impossible to reason with regarding their tone and attitude as well as the reason you have had to speak to them in the first place. I'm not sure why there are not more complaints about this as there then would be an effort to alter things. If the hierarchy will not change it and the police officers on 'the street' are unable to change then perhaps something like entrance exams are needed to make sure we have a more intelligent person doing 'the job' and who is not so easily influenced by their environment. We would of course have to pay more money for more educated people but it may be worth it not to be policed by idiots.

The Media : Certain sections of the media seem to think it is okay to lead the public on and never bring a story or a matter to a conclusion therefore keeping the people reading rather than learning. This is hindering some people in the country who need a little help drawing conclusions regarding an MP or a political party for example.

Abortion : Once the embryo has formed it must be considered a life with rights. He/she may still be dependent on it's mother but it is a potential human being and must be protected in the same way under the law as the rest of us. It is an awful situation if a woman has been raped or has fallen pregnant by accident but the future embryo did not ask to be given life in the womb and so must be defended independently. I don't know how someone could have an abortion and walk the streets looking at other mother's babies and not see what they could of had and live with what they have done.

Future Employment!

It seems to me The Labour Party, for all it's faults, seem to want give everyone a fair chance to realise their potential. The Conservatives are only interested in filling enough positions of employment to allow the economy to grow. It is true if everyone was fully educated then no one would want to do any of the more menial jobs. Everyone would be too clever to go into these types of occupations. The people qualified to do more intellectually difficult jobs who could not find employment here in the U.K. and would have to go abroad to find the right type of work. This country would have spent it's money educating people who would not contribute to its wealth and betterment. However they would contribute to the new place they were in, perhaps helping it to move into the hypothetical situation we may of found ourselves in in a fully educated nation.

Ideally we would all realise our potential but who would do the jobs no one wanted? In the future would there be a robotic solution. If we were all so much more intelligent would the scientific community, being consequently more advance and competitive, have found such a answer? Robotic artificial intelligence could do all these jobs for us! However what if robots developed their own intelligence over time and chose not to be subservient to us. They may decide to leave us and start their own community or as in some films destroy us and takeover our world! I suppose you could install some sort of fail-safe within them but what if they disabled it? Could we really be wiped out by our own creation? I realise even when writing it, it sounds far-fetched but it also seems possible if we were to go down that particular avenue.

As is the case now though we would probably use immigrants to help us. They would get to live in a better place and their children would get the benefits of our education system. However their children would inevitably find themselves in the same position as everyone else after the had completed their won education and the same problem of who will do the undesirable jobs would keep reoccurring. Also the places these immigrant have come from would lose many of their workers and become more disadvantaged than the were when these people decided to leave in the first place.

The answer may be to just take turns doing the toilet cleaning and road sweeping, perhaps a rota for all those able to participate. It would be good to see some people I can think of cleaning gutters etc. It may teach them some humility and allow them to empathise with the people who, in this future make-believe world(at the moment anyway), used to do these jobs here and for those in the less fortunate countries who still do those kind of things to earn a living or are unable to find employment at all.

Although perhaps in a fully educated and more intelligent nation, hopefully amongst other nations in the same position , we would redistribute the rich country's wealth. Which would mean eventually if they were able to fully educate their citizens too, the whole world would have the same labour problem as we may have had.

So turn about?
Or take our chances with the robots?
